The results are in for the ABC7 Bay Area AList

Every year ABC7 compiles a list of the best Bay Area businesses.  This year there were 10,414 nominees.  72,388 votes were counted in total.  Among this sea of candidates, we managed to shine. In the BEST Florist category we ranked #2. And in the BEST Wedding Flowers we came in close with #3. It is an honor and a privilege to be ranked so highly among the premiere florists of San Francisco.  Thank you to all of our valued clients, friends and family who have supported us over the past 10 years!

In honor of this occasion, here are some pictures from one of our favorite weddings featured on Style Me Pretty. http://www.stylemepretty.com/california-weddings/2011/03/30/sonoma-wedding-at-cline-cellars/

Becca had a natural, organic vision.  Her cascading bouquet was designed primarily with foliage.

Her bridesmaids carried an elegant design comprised of three gorgeous white peonies and accented with fresh mint.

Josh's boutonniere was designed to beat the heat.  Green fern shoots, white passion flowers and brezillia berries stood up to the test.

Becca and Josh were married under the shade of a traditional Chuppah.  Clematis vines and curly willow framed them in simple elegance.

As a break from the tradition, the newlyweds served up a spin on the wedding cake, offering guests samples of their favorite cheeses instead.

Anna & Rune ~ Richmond Yacht Club ~ September 2011

On a late summer day with warm gentle breeze, Anna and Rune confirmed their love for each other.  The event was set at the Richmond Yacht Club as the boats swayed and bobbed in the marina.
Anna was dreaming of a relaxed, whimsical wedding day.  The tables were dressed with ivory linens and topped with large decorative seashells and candlelight.  Ivory double tulips, eggplant scabiosa, and snow on the mountain completed the look with their light, airy blooms.

Anna and her father's talent shined as they took on the task this DIY wedding cake.  The butter cream frosting was speckled with orange flecks.  The effect was rustic yet chic.

But the true icing on the cake was this tiny photo of Anna's grandmother pinned to her bouquet just moments before the ceremony.  With it, Anna was able to carry her heritage with her down the aisle.

The delicate softness of Muhly Grass added to the driftwood theme in these bridesmaid's bouquets.

Kristin & Matt ~ Grandview Pavillion ~ Alameda, Calif.

We had the honor of working with Kristin and Matt to make their beautiful wedding day just a little more fabulous.  Kristin wasn't picky, but she did know what she wanted.  I was given the creative license that I love, along with the just the right amount of direction from the bride.  They picked a sophisticated color scheme of black and white with bold red accents.

Kristin's bouquet was composed of white callas, black bacarra roses, white spray roses, cymbidium orchid blooms and for a touch of whimsy, monkey tails.  To add a bit of texture, I completed the design with the dark feathery foliage, agonis.

To add to the elegance, we paired Kristin's bouquet with a simple bridesmaid's bouquet of all white callas.  I tied the two designs together by trimming the blooms with agonis.

Matt's boutonniere complemented  Kristin's bouquet wonderfully.  We pinned a black bacarra rose and cymbidium bloom with touches of hypericum to his lapel and finished it with black satin.

The tables were topped with a romantic arrangement of deep red roses in a leaf-lined square block.

...and they all lived happily ever after...
