Kristin & Matt ~ Grandview Pavillion ~ Alameda, Calif.

We had the honor of working with Kristin and Matt to make their beautiful wedding day just a little more fabulous.  Kristin wasn't picky, but she did know what she wanted.  I was given the creative license that I love, along with the just the right amount of direction from the bride.  They picked a sophisticated color scheme of black and white with bold red accents.

Kristin's bouquet was composed of white callas, black bacarra roses, white spray roses, cymbidium orchid blooms and for a touch of whimsy, monkey tails.  To add a bit of texture, I completed the design with the dark feathery foliage, agonis.

To add to the elegance, we paired Kristin's bouquet with a simple bridesmaid's bouquet of all white callas.  I tied the two designs together by trimming the blooms with agonis.

Matt's boutonniere complemented  Kristin's bouquet wonderfully.  We pinned a black bacarra rose and cymbidium bloom with touches of hypericum to his lapel and finished it with black satin.

The tables were topped with a romantic arrangement of deep red roses in a leaf-lined square block.

...and they all lived happily ever after...
